Has the Lord been speaking to you about being involved in a ministry? Perhaps you've felt called to be involved in helping others to grow spiritually but are unsure what to do. Edinboro Conference Grounds is a great place to minister in a non threatening environment. We have opportunities for you to serve in various areas. Below is a list of each position required to complete the staff for each week of camp.
We can't do it without your help! Not only will you be helping them...they will be helping you! We have found over our sixty years that lay people that volunteer at ECG have stories of how God blessed them in a particular way. POSITIONS:
Program Director - Plans the week's program, give oversight to and mentors the Counselor Staff, as well as general supervision of campers. - job description (pdf)
Assistant Director - Oversees and mentors the Worker staff to complete the activities of the dining hall at meal times. May also lead the workers in some service project activities around the camp. - job description (pdf)
Speaker - This is an opportunity for those gifted in conveying an age appropriate message to the campers from God's Word.
Worship Leader - Person or group to plan and lead the entire camp toward the Lord through the ministry of music.
Often the worship at the younger camps is led by the Speaker.
Activities Director - Plans age appropriate, physical activities for the campers that are fun and cultivate a team or group spirit. - job description (pdf)
Craft Coordinator - Usually crafts are planned for the three youngest camps only. This staff memeber plans and oversees the projects for the week.
Nurse - A qualified medical professional who is on staff to give aid to any physical needs of hte campers and other staff. The camp nurse is also responsible to adminsiter all camper medications.- job description (pdf)
Cook - Pland and prepares meals and snacks. Assistance is provided through the Worker Staff for setup, serving, and cleanup.
Counselor - This is the persone who enters into the most direct relationship with the campers, through group leadership, usually wit 2 to 6 campers. The counselor mentors, encourages, cares for, and becomes their friend for the week. - job description (pdf)
Worker - This is usually the first job a young person has at camp. Workes help in the Dining Hall to prepare the tables for meals, serve the food, and cleanup following each meal. As time permits they also do some painting or grounds work..- job description (pdf)
